There is hardly any difference of opinion on whether the earth temperature or not. The only dispute is whether humans are responsible for global warming and the magnitude of the warming. There is scientific data supporting both the arguments, yet the fact that global warming is actually a reality has gained more popularity lately. The first politician who ever talked about this issue was Richard Nixon, ever since every single presidential addresses this issue on some scale.
The people who think global warming is not issue at all believe that change in the climate is natural and occurs due to heat wave that hits the planet every 40000 years. Well, this claim is absolutely correct, but one should bare in mind that the heat wave that hit the world 40000 years ago was not combined with any thing else. This time the heat wave is complimented with enormous environmental pollution. If this wave lasts another thousand years, I am afraid we would not survive to see what the next heat wave will bring for us. I think people who claim that Global warming is not a threat are either ignorant or have their self-interests vested in the industry of fossil fuels which most our politicians do.
Expedient: suitable for achieving a particular end in a given circumstance
Nomadic: roaming about from place to place aimlessly, frequently, or without a fixed pattern of movement .

Diamonds
Diamonds are considered to be one of the most precious stones in the world. The best git that one can give to their loved ones is a diamond jewellery. It is a billion dollar industry across the globe which makes a huge portion of many economies in the world. A lot of African countries depend substantially on the export of diamond for their survival. It creates a lot of jobs in countries like India, China, Australia, Canada and many others. However, there is a lot more to it.
Among others, the issue of child labor is prevalent in the diamond industry. Children below the age of 12 are made to work more than 12 hours a day in the periphery countries involved in diamond supply chain. Specially in India, atleast 40 percent of the total labor force in the diamond industry is made up of childern. Moreover, many kids are smuggled from the villages to work in the industry in Africa so that the labor cost stays down. Also there are more than 1 million child soldiers in Africa who are trafikked from their home towns to be a part of the military of rebellions
Apart from that, the problem of blood diamonds is also been around for a while. Blood diamonds are the diamonds which are smuggled from one country to another and the funds are used to support the militants groups in Africa. All the countries invovled in diamond trading did make a convention of not dealing in blood diamonds but still the smuggling of diamonds to support the evil doers has not completey stopped.

Anasazi
In one of my GE classes, I got to learn a little about a lot of different civilizations that have existed ever since the inception of the world. In one of my history courses, I had an opportunity to explore a little about a civilization called Anasazi who existed about 8000 years ago.
All the indigenous people who existed in those ages had pretty much similar approach towards life. People living in similar region had almost identical life style and means of survival. The Anasazis were also had a kind of culture that existed in the central America during that era.However, there were a couple of things that fascinated me enough to write a blog about them.
During the early part of their existance, they lived in villages and valleys just like every other gorup of people, but as the time passed they shifted their residences in between the cliffs. This seemed pretty weired as designing houses in cliffs during those days was almost impossible. Moreover no one knows gthe reason of this migration from villages to cliffs. Furthermore, the most mysterious information about the Anasazis is the reason of their elimination. It is yet to be found that what happened to those people that diminished them from the face of this earth.
